DC Samba reviews anti-flood preparedness measures

SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma today chaired a crucial meeting here in the Conference Hall to review and assess anti-flood control measures in view of the upcoming monsoon season.

The DC emphasized the need for coordinated efforts, quick response mechanism and inter-agency preparedness to mitigate flood-related risks and ensure the safety of life and property. He directed all departments to remain on high alert and submit updated contingency plans and resource inventories.

The session concluded with a detailed discussion on vulnerable zones, emergency response protocols and public awareness strategies.

The meeting witnessed the active participation of ADDC Champa Devi, ADC Jagdish Singh & senior officers from civil administration, representatives of BSF, NDRF and officials from concerned departments.
