Din Mohd Afaqi takes over as ACD Doda

DODA: Din Mohd Afaqi today took over as the new Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda.

The outgoing ACD, Manoj Kumar formally handed over the responsibilities in a brief ceremony held at the ACD office.

Soon after assuming the charge, the ACD held an introductory meeting with the staff of the Rural Development Department (RDD) at the Zila Gramin Vikas Bhawan. He interacted with officials and staff members, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, transparency and timely implementation of developmental schemes.

The ACD also chaired a one-day district-level workshop on Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) at the Zila Gramin Vikas Bhawan. The workshop was attended by all field surveyors and checkers associated with the scheme.

During the workshop, the ACD reviewed the progress of ongoing housing projects under PMAY-G and guided the teams on improving data accuracy and timely verification processes.

He urged the surveyors and field functionaries to work with dedication to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach the deserving rural households.
