DAJGUA: Two-day Photo/Videography Training program by DIPR Baramulla concludes

BARAMULLA: A two-day comprehensive training session on photography and videography organized by District Information Centre Baramulla for the officials of the Rural Development Department (RDD) concluded today.

The aim of the programme was to upskill the officials to effectively capture and document crucial events and success stories related to the upcoming nation-wide IEC campaign under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA).

During the training, Khursheed Ahmad Parray, a noted photographer, along with experts from the Information Office Baramulla, provided practical guidance and demonstrations on framing, lighting, camera handling, and storytelling. The sessions were tailored to enable trainees to proficiently showcase beneficiary schemes, achievements, and the transformation taking place in tribal villages under the DAJGUA initiative.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, distributed certificates among the participants who successfully completed the training and urged them to make the best use of their learnings in documenting the upcoming mega IEC campaign under DAJGUA. He also appreciated the efforts of the Information Department Baramulla for organizing the training programme aimed at enhancing field-level communication and documentation skills.

Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla, Chaudhary Mudasir Hussain, sensitized the participants about the core objectives of the DAJGUA campaign. He stressed the importance of accurate and compelling visual documentation to effectively communicate the positive changes being brought about in tribal communities and to build stronger public engagement with ongoing government initiatives.

District Information Officer Baramulla, Iftakhar Naseem, highlighted the role of photography and videography in showcasing tribal development, aiding administration and fostering public trust and awareness.
