DLSA organizes Orientation training programme with SAATHI Unit Pulwama

PULWAMA: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama under the chairmanship of Malik Shabir Ahmad, Chairman DLSA (Pr.District & Sessions Judge), Pulwama today organized one day orientation training programme for SAATHI Unit members of the district at District Court Complex Pulwama.

On the occasion, Mudasar Farooq, Secretary DLSA Pulwama impressed upon the members of SAATHI Committee Unit Pulwama to identify the destitute children by conducting surveys within their respective areas.

He highlighted the role of PLVs, Asha workers, in identifying the destitute children requiring Aadhar registration, issuance of other legal documents, identity documents, or other allied assistance, and directed all the members of SAATHI Committee to conduct the survey for mapping and identifying destitute children in district Pulwama particularly in far flung and remote areas of the district at the earliest.

At the end of the orientation training programme, a question/answer session was held during which different questions and queries regarding the implementation of the campaign were raised and also awareness on the free legal aid services to the common citizens was also generated.
