DLSA Kulgam observes World Day against Child Labour

KULGAM: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kulgam in collaboration with Islamia Simnania Hr. Secondary School Kulgam observed ‘World Day against Child Labour' today.

The event was held under the chairmanship of Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Chairman DLSA Kulgam. Fozia Paul, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kulgam supervised and conducted the programme

Resource persons, Sheikh Saqib Ansari, Labeeba Alamgir both Assistant LADCs discussed various aspects of topic, and highlighted various provisions of child labour laws including Juvenile justice Act.

They highlighted the underlying causes contributing to this challenge and provided valuable information about the legal frameworks aimed at prohibiting child labour.

Programme was attended by staff of DLSA, PLVs, and teaching Staff & Students of the said Institute.
