SANJAY 2025: DC Bandipora reviews arrangements; conducts on-site inspection of Transit Camp Shadipora

BANDIPORA: In preparation for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri convened a comprehensive review meeting on Wednesday at the office of Executive Engineer, Mechanical Irrigation Division Shadipora.
On the occasion, DC stressed the importance of proactive planning, timely execution, and collaborative efforts by all departments to provide seamless services and ensure the safety and comfort of the pilgrims.
He took a detailed review of the facilities including transportation, health care services, sanitation, drinking water supply, traffic regulation, and security deployment along the Yatra route.
DC directed concerned officers to remain in a state of readiness and ensure that all necessary arrangements including manpower, logistics, equipment, and contingency plans are put in place well in advance to avoid any challenges and to ensure the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
The meeting was aimed at finalizing necessary arrangements and ensuring inter-departmental coordination for the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
Qadri reaffirmed the district administration's commitment to ensuring a safe, well-managed and spiritually fulfilling yatra experience for all devotees.
Later, DC conducted on-site inspection of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board's Shadipora Transit Camp to review the ongoing works at the site and directed concerned officers to ensure timely completion of all infrastructure projects aimed at improving facilities for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Zaffar Husson Shawl; Commandant 45 BN CRPF, SDM Sumbal, Project Director NH-1 Srinagar, Chief Medical Officer Bandipora, Executive Engineers from PDD, PHE, and R&B, Tehsildar Sumbal, SDPO Sumbal, BDO Sumbal, AD F&ES, EO MC Sumbal, while Deputy CEO Shrine Board (SANJY) attended the meeting virtually.
