ADC Jammu emphasises priority sector lending at DLRC meeting

JAMMU: A meeting of the District Level Review Committee was convened today to assess the performance of banks and financial institutions in the district.

The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ansuya Jamwal and attended by Lead District Manager Romesh Chander, DDM NABARD Rajesh Dutta, LDO RBI Anil Kumar and Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh besides others.

During the session, special emphasis was placed on enhancing priority sector lending, with a focus on agriculture and housing sectors.

The need to clear pendency in government sponsored lending cases was stressed upon to ensure support for targeted beneficiaries.
