SDRF 2nd Bn hosts internship course for GN Women College students

JAMMU: A 10 day Internship programme on Disaster Management for the students of Government College for Women Gandhinagar was inaugurated today by Commandant (SSP) SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu Zahid Naseem Manhas, here at its Battalion Headquarters.

Dy. SP (Bn. Adjutant) Manzoor Hussain was also present. The welcome address was presented by Dy. SP (Trainings), Dinesh Gupta.

In his inaugural address, the Commandant stressed to strengthen the capabilities of students as it is vital for collective preparedness and response as and when required.

Necessary instructions were given to instructors for imparting training to the Students.

The motive of the course is to train students as they could be the first responder to disaster, if it strikes in their locality.
