Three-Day Sudhmahadev Mela from June 10; Dharmarth Trust Ensures Comprehensive Arrangements

UDHAMPUR: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust has made comprehensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of the upcoming three-day Sudhmahadev Mela, starting from June 10 at the revered temples of Sudhmahadev and Mantalai.
The annual festival draws thousands of devotees from across the region, offering a vibrant blend of religious devotion and cultural tradition.
In a press release issued here today, Dr. P.S. Pathania, President of the Dharmarth Trust, said that adequate facilities are being put in place to ensure a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims attending the Mela. He stated that the Trust is working in close coordination with local authorities and community representatives to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place.
He emphasized that essential services such as drinking water, sanitation, medical aid, power supply, and crowd management have been planned meticulously. "The Dharmarth Trust is committed to preserving the sanctity of these ancient temples while providing a secure and comfortable environment for the devotees," he said.
Ashok Sharma (IPS Retd.), Trust's Secretary, underlined the significance of the Mela in promoting the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the region.
The Secretary appealed to the devotees to participate with devotion and to cooperate with the organizers and volunteers for the smooth conduct of the festival.
He said that the Trust has ensured that public conveniences, emergency services, accommodation facilities, and other logistical support are in place for the comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing of the pilgrims.
