Capacity building programme hosted for Yuva Doots at Rajouri

RAJOURI: A Capacity Building Programme for Yuva Doots of subdivision Rajouri was today held here under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jhangir Khan.

The Yuva Doots from RDD Blocks of Rajouri, Dhangri, Doongi, Panjgrain, Manjakote and Municipal Committee Rajouri attended the event. The objective was to review the progress under Mission YUVA and strengthen the role of Yuva Doots in promoting entrepreneurship among the youth of the district.

District Statistical and Evaluation Officer (DSEO) Sandeep Sharma, provided a detailed briefing on the aims and objectives of Mission YUVA and emphasized the importance of grassroots-level awareness to ensure the success of the initiative.

Dy. Director, DECC Mohammad Nawaz, conducted a comprehensive session covering the salient features of Mission YUVA, including the process for submitting applications and the use of the official portal. He urged the Yuva Doots to familiarize themselves with the digital interface to better guide prospective beneficiaries.

All members of the BHD (Block Headed Development) teams of Rajouri Subdivision also attended the meeting and participated in the discussions.

Nodal Officer of Mission YUVA for Subdivision Rajouri, Jhangir Khan, directed Yuva Doots to conduct extensive IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) awareness camps in every Panchayat and Municipal Ward. He emphasized the need to identify and motivate potential entrepreneurs and assist them in filing applications under the scheme.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmed commitment by all stakeholders to make Mission YUVA a transformative platform for youth-led development in the district.
