DC Kulgam reviews implementation of Mission YUVA

KULGAM: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan chaired a meeting of officers to review implementation of Mission YUVA in the district.

On the occasion, DC impressed upon officers involved in the seamless execution of Mission YUVA to work in close coordination for affirmative results.

He directed for establishing one to one contact with a defined set of potential entrepreneurs identified during baseline survey by a team of officers in addition to the institutional mechanism already in place.

He also directed concerned to ensure coverage of all uncovered Panchayats & MC wards under IEC campaign, Udyam Jagriti 3.0.

He instructed to assign monthly targets to Yuva Doot's regarding number of submitted applications from each Panchayat/MC Ward and the felicitation of best performing Yuva Doot's on fortnightly/monthly basis.

Further, to expedite the verification of applications & preparation of DPR's at SBDU level for further placing the cases before DLIC for approval, DC Kulgam instructed for convening of weekly SBDU & DLIC meetings every Saturday & Monday respectively.

It was given that IEC activities are going on in full swing in the district with an active participation of potential entrepreneurs, Yuva Doot's, PRI's and field officers.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Kulgam, ACR Kulgam, SDM DH Pora, AD Employment & CC, SBDU & BHD members and other concerned officers.
