Mission YUVA implementation reviewed in District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: A review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of Mission YUVA in the district was convened today under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pawan Kotwal.

The meeting was attended by General Manager District Industries Centre, Dr. Rishi Sharma; ACR, Idrees Lone; SDMs of Paddar, Marwah, and Chatroo, besides all other members of Small Business Development Units (SBDUs) and Business Help Desks (BHDs).

At the outset, the ADC reviewed the functioning of the SBDUs and BHDs, emphasizing the need to expedite the implementation process. He directed concerned officers to activate YUVA Doots and set clear targets for them to ensure timely results.

Yuva Doots are responsible for identifying potential entrepreneurs, raising awareness about self-employment schemes and assisting them in accessing benefits under Mission YUVA.

Highlighting the importance of grassroots outreach, the ADC instructed departments to conduct awareness programs at the Panchayat level to inform youth about opportunities under Mission YUVA.

Stressing on adopting a proactive and coordinated approach, the ADC urged stakeholders to work collectively to maximize youth participation and promote sustainable employment through entrepreneurship under the Mission YUVA initiative.
