Ferozepur police seize over 12 kg of heroin and Rs 25 lakh in major drug smuggling module crackdown

FEROZEPUR: Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to eradicating drug syndicates, disrupting supply chains, and ensuring a drug-free Punjab, a statement from the force said.

The operation led to the recovery of 12.07 kg of heroin and Rs 25.12 lakh in cash linked to drug trafficking and hawala transactions. An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act at PS Ghall Khurd, with further investigations underway to uncover additional connections in the network.
