ADM Reasi bans transportation of bovine animals

REASI: Additional District Magistrate Reasi, in exercise of powers vested under section 163 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has prohibited the transportation of bovine animals without seeking permission from the District Magistrate within the jurisdiction of District Reasi.

The order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months. However, it shall not apply in case of transportation of bovine animals by the Government departments for departmental purposes.

Any violation of this order shall invite punitive action under section 223 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
