Ghagwal unites to promote community cleanliness Movement

SAMBA: The transformative "Saturdays for Ghagwal" initiative continues to build impressive momentum as residents, officials, and security personnel joined forces for the second consecutive weekly cleanliness drive.

The successful drive focused on the vital corridor connecting Shri Narsingh Dev Ji Dham to the National Highway, demonstrating the growing community commitment to civic responsibility.

"What began as a simple initiative has quickly evolved into a powerful movement that brings together people from all walks of life," said SDM K.S. Bali. "We're seeing unprecedented collaboration between government departments, religious institutions, and citizens-all united by a shared vision for a cleaner Ghagwal."

The campaign, launched on April 19 at the revered Shri Narsingh Dev Ji Mandir, strategically targets key religious, social, and governmental areas each week. The focused approach ensures meaningful impact while building sustainable civic engagement habits among residents.

Notable participation from the 41 Battalion of TBP, local women's groups, and public representatives highlights the initiative's broad appeal and ability to transcend traditional participation barriers.

"We invite all residents to join us this coming Saturday as we continue this vital work," added Tehsildar Ghagwal. "Together, we are not just cleaning our region-we are strengthening the bonds that make Ghagwal special."
