Lawrence Public School holds Annual Sports Meet

JAMMU: Lawrence Public School hosted Annual Sports Meet 2025, bringing together students, faculty and distinguished guests for a day of competition and camaraderie.

Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma was the chief guest along with several dignitaries, including Dr. Madhu Khullar, Former Director Health, Ravinder Singh, Former Director School Education, and many others.

The meet saw the participation of Lawrence School alumni who have made significant contributions to sports, such as Arjun Gandotra, International Speed Skating Champion, Jugraaj Singh Charlie, Captain of the National Roller Hockey Team and Mohd. Farooq, a prominent sports figure and father of IPL cricketer Abdul Samad.

The day's events included a variety of interactive races and activities, where students showcased remarkable athleticism, teamwork and sportsmanship. The energy and enthusiasm on the field were contagious, with the audience cheering the young athletes.

Wing Commander (Retd) M.M. Joshi, Chairman of Lawrence Public School, expressed his gratitude to all participants and guests.

The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony by Satish Sharma, who acknowledged the outstanding performances and encouraged students to continue excelling in sports.
