J&K Police recover two kidnapped minor girls from Chhattisgarh

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir police have recovered two kidnapped minor girls from Chhattisgarh.
SHO Janipur along with his team successfully recovered two minor girls who were abducted and safely handed them over to their families.
On 10 February, Janipur police received a complaint from a father that his two minor daughters had been kidnapped by Shiva Dass and Manoj Kumar, both residents of Chhattisgarh (at present Janipur Colony).
The recovery operation was carried out after extensive investigations, intelligence gathering, and coordinated efforts of Janipur local police under the close supervision of SDPO city west, police said.
The police added that the girls were recovered from Balooda, Chhattisgarh after using human and technical intelligence.
Jammu police have assured that the individuals responsible for these criminal acts will face the full force of law.
"The J&K police reiterates its commitment to the safety of women and children and highlights the importance of creating a supportive environment where victims can find refuge, assistance, and justice. We are pleased that these girls have been safely recovered and are now back with their loved ones," police added.
Police have been conducting an awareness programme regularly under the banner "Chai with Cop" to educate people about their children's security from criminals and drug peddlers
