DG DYSS felicitates Atul on completing advance course

JAMMU: The Director General Department of Youth services and Sports (DYSS), Rajinder Singh felicitated Atul Pangotra on successfully completing the International Referee Refresher Course 2025, conducted by the India Taekwondo under the aegis of World Taekwondo.
Atul Pangotra has made significant contributions to the field of Taekwondo, boasting two Commonwealth medals to his name. Notably, he was the only referee from J&K to qualify for the prestigious Paralympics top 50 referee panel in 2020, marking a historic achievement for the region. His commitment to the sport has not only elevated his personal career but has also inspired many young athletes in Jammu and Kashmir to pursue their dreams in martial arts.
During the felicitation, DG DYSS complimented Atul for his accomplishments as an athlete and coach. He highlighted Atul's recent success in bringing home a historic medal in the SGFI Under- 19 championship.
