Govt Polytechnic for Women Jammu organises industrial visit for students

JAMMU: To provide students with practical insights into the industry, Government Polytechnic for Women Jammu, under the supervision of the Principal Er. Suket Gupta, organized an industrial visit to Flexicom Industries Pvt. Ltd., Kathua.

The visit was part of the institution's ongoing initiative to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications. Students from 1st and 3rd semester of Textile Designing Department and 3rd and 5th Semester of OM&CA accompanied by Er. Kamal Kumar, HOD, Textile Designing Department and Seema Pandita, Lecturer Grade-I (OM&CA), Shiveta, Lecturer Grade-I (OM&CA) other faculty members of this Institution had the opportunity to tour Flexicom Industries state-of-the-art facilities. The students were given a comprehensive overview of the company's operations, including its manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and the innovative technologies employed in production.

During the visit, the students interacted with industry professionals, gaining valuable knowledge about the latest trends and challenges. Sh. Dharmendar Kauntey, VP (Operations) from Flexicom Industries also conducted a Q&A session, offering career advice and insights into the various opportunities available within the sector.

Flexicom Industries Pvt. Ltd. was delighted to host the students and expressed its commitment to supporting educational initiatives that foster talent development in the industry.
