Kashish brought Laurels to GDC Marh by winning Rangoli making Competition

JAMMU: Kashish-a student of B.A Semester V of Government Degree College Marh has brought laurels to her College by clinching 1st position in Rangoli competition at Jammu University's Display your talent -A Mega Festival of Music, Dance, Theatre, Fine Arts and Literary Activities" celebrating diverse culture of Jammu.

As many as 15 colleges and 3 departments of the University of Jammu participated in the event.

Suhani of B.A 3rd Semester- another student of GDC Marh who also participated in the Rangoli competition, was given the participation certificate.

Kashish, who clinched 1st position in Rangoli Competition on geometrical phase used organic colours, pulses, rice and flowers for making her rangoli and most important that she made rangoli based on eco-friendly ideas by using innovative methods.

Prof. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, the Principal of the College who always motivates faculty and the students to participate in such festivals, showered praises on Kashish for bringing laurels to the college.
