Mother’s Day celebrated at Jodhamal

JAMMU: Jodhamal Public School celebrated Mother's Day with a heartwarming tribute to all mothers. The event, organized with great enthusiasm, began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Meenu Mahajan, Mrs. India (2016) was the Chief Guest.
The little Kids presented cultural bonanza in the form of play, songs, dances and fashion shows. The Main attraction of this programme was the Fashion Show of mothers.
Different games were also organized for the talented mothers and prizes were given to the mothers, who won the games. Students also spoke beautiful quotes and poems to show their love, affection and gratitude for their mothers. A delightful fashion show further added to the festive spirit. More than 250 students participated in the event.
The Guest, Meenu Mahajan appreciated the efforts made by the students and staff to make this occasion extra special. She said that every child has an idol, be it a favourite sports star, a singer or a superhero. But, it's not until you get a little older that you realize your hero has been there all along.
Vice Principal, Amita Arora presented the welcome address and thanked every mother for all that they have done.
The Vote of Thanks was presented by Headmistress Neetu Johri. The event was graced by the Trustee. Nandan Kuthiala and Director, Arati Kuthiala. The successful execution of the event was credited to the CCA Coordinator, Deepali Puri.
