DEO Reasi flags off mega rally to promote voting awareness

REASI: District Election Officer Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, today flagged off a mega voters' awareness rally, here from the General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium.

Organised under the Aegis of Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP),  the rally culminated at General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College Reasi.

It saw enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, NCC and NSS volunteers, Anganwadi workers, officers and officials.

Addressing the participants, the DEO urged young voters to visit the polling booths on 26th April to cast their votes and also encouraged them to motivate their family members to ensure maximum participation in the Lok Sabha Election.

He emphasized the importance of voting in a democracy and the role of youth in shaping the future of the country.

ADDC Reasi Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Nodal Officer MCC, Law & Order Kulbushan Khajuria,  ARO-57 Anshumali Sharma, Nodal Officer Training Mohd. Anwar Banday, Nodal Officer SVEEP, Nasir Ahmed, Nodal Officer Welfare, Sachin Sharma and other officers were present.
