Samba administration organises mega SVEEP event at Badhori, Mahalshah Pyts

SAMBA: A mega Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) event was today organised by district administration Samba at panchayat Badhori in the forenoon & at panchayat Mahalshah of district Samba in the afternoon.

A colourful and mesmerizing programme was orchestrated by District Election Officer, Abhishek Sharma. Nodal Officer SVEEP, Mohammad Sayeed, ACD Mehmood Riaz, DPO, Ranjeet Singh, DIO Ashiq Rafiq Malik, BDO Aparajita Aryan and other district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion. A mammoth gathering of enthusiastic locals, especially youth, women, PwDs, children and labourers were also present.

The event aimed to raise awareness about electoral participation and educate voters. The event at picturesque location to engage the community in the electoral process was thoroughly appreciated by the participants.

District Nodal officer SVEEP interacted with the participants encouraging them to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 without fear and contribute their part in shaping the future of India as a vibrant Democratic Nation.

Hundreds of locals, children and labourers working in the industrial area captured memorable moments and relished the cultural, informative and educative programme focusing on motivation of voters to participate in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, scheduled to be held in the district Samba (05-Jammu Parliamentary Constituency) on April 26,2024.

Another major highlight was a play staged by Natrang Theatre group on the theme 'Loktantra Ka Asli Mantra' leaving the audience spellbound.

The play, in a satirical manner, conveyed the petty reasons given by people to not vote and also whom to vote.
