GCW Parade celebrates Basant Panchami

JAMMU: P.G Department of Music and Cultural Committee of Government College for Women Parade Ground organizes a special program to mark the celebration of Basant Panchmi, the Other Day.

The event organized to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchmi featured a plethora of activities aimed at generating awareness among students about the rich culture of India.

On the occasion, the College Principal Dr S.P Sarswat congratulated all the staff and students and emphasized the importance of festivals.

The Students of the Music Department presented compositions in Raag Bahar and Basant evoking spiritual ambiance. Students also recited poems.

The event hosted by Dr Jasmeet Kour, HOD Music was attended by the staff and students.
