GDC Ramgarh organizes seminar on Viksit Bharat@2047

SAMBA: Government Degree College, Ramgarh organized a seminar on Ideas for the Vision: Viksit Bharat @2047. The event was organised under the supervision and able guidance of the Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, who recapitulated Prime Minister's vision to actively involve the youth of the country in making India a developed nation by 2047 by performing the duties of a citizen.
The activity started with the introductory lecture on the relevance of holding brainstorming sessions for ideas that are important for Viksit Bharat @2047.
The interactive session was conducted by Dr. Paramjeet Kour, Department of Education.
The organizing committee, comprising of Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Sonabar and Prof. Brham Dutt, motivated the students to think out of the Box and offer different perspectives regarding the Vision Viksit Bharat @2047. Bhoomika stood at the 3rd position, Gurneet Kour and Komal shared the 2nd position and Suani secured the 1st position in this seminar.
The aim of the activity was to foster awareness regarding the programme Viksit Bharat @2047, the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047 i.e. 100th year of Independence. The students expressed their views on various aspects of development including economic growth, social progress, education, environmental sustainability and good governance.
Large number of students of the college participated in this seminar.
The faculty members Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Priya Sharma, Dr. Imtiyaz Ahmed, Dr. Ekta Rani, Fayaz Ahmed, Sonali Dutta, Anil Sharma, Ram Murti, Akansha and Aparna were present on the occasion.
