SKUAST-J scientists presented research work in ISA national symposium at Goa

JAMMU: Scientists of SKUAST-J working under the leadership of Prof. B.N Tripathi, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-J presented their research work at prestigious XXII biennial national symposium on "Climate smart agronomy for resilient production systems and livelihood security" organized by Indian Society of Agronomy at Goa.

Governor of Goa P. S. Sreedharan Pillai was the chief guest and Director General ICAR and Secretary DARE Dr. Himanshu Pathak was the guest of honour.

Prof Vikas Sharma presented his research work on "Short-term influence of high cropping intensity on soil carbon".

Prof. A.P Singh, presented his work on "Evaluation of maize based cropping systems for higher productivity & resource utilization under rain fed subtropics of Jammu".

Dr. Vivak M. Arya, presented the work on "Effect of ultra-high intensity systems on Nitrogen pools and Phosphorus fractions" co authored by Dr. B. C Sharma, Monika Meenia, Dr Amrish Vaid and Dr Manish Sharma.

Dr. Rohit Sharma, Jr. Scientist presented his work on "Integrated farming system for enhanced productivity for farmers of Jammu.

Dr. Ajay Gupta, Sr. Scientist, Agronomy presented his work on "Performance of Pearl Millet Varieties". The symposium was attended by more than 450 delegates from across the country.
