VBSY held in 10 Panchayats of Block Kund & Manzgam

KULGAM: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continued on fifth day in the district, as IEC campaign in 10 more panchayats of Kund and Manzgam blocks was orgainsed with the aim to reach out to the underserved population to saturate the Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

Panchayat Halqas including Kanchloo, Nagrass, Uril, Kraloo, Pachgam, Hallan, Manzgam- A, Manzgam-B, Chogalpora and Avil Panchayats were today taken up during the fifth day of the Yatra with events witnessing enthusiastic and vibrant participation of stakeholders.

ACD, Mohammad Imran and SDM DH Pora, Bashir Ul Hassan supervised multiple activities organized under the nationwide campaign.

Officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interacted with people and motivated them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare based schemes.

Beneficiaries, who have availed services, also shared their experiences under Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative and expressed gratitude for the seamless services delivery.

Drone and soil health card demonstrations, health camps for NCD, Anaemia screening and other on-the-spot services were provided on the occasion.

Assistance under different government schemes, felicitation events, painting and drawing competitions were also held on the occasion, across the Panchayats.

Welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had installed stalls. IEC Vans were pressed into service also.

Block officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students and locals participated in large numbers in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in aforesaid panchayats.
