MAM PG College organises function in memory of martyr Lt Shushil Khajuria

JAMMU: 2 JK Boys Bn NCC of the Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu, organized a function in the memory of Lt. Sushil Khajuria who fought selflessly to defend our nation's sovereignty during the Kupwara Operation and he attained Martyrdom on 28, Sept 2011.
At the Ceremony, The Chief Guest was the Martyr's father, Som Dutt Khajuria, his brother Sushil Khajuria along with his relative who paid tribute to the Martyrdom while lightening the lamp.
Dr. Sanjay Karlupia, the officiating Principal of the college welcomed the dignitaries and acknowledge the supreme bravery and courage displayed by the alumni of Martyrdom Lt. Sushil Khajuria, KC who laid down his life for the nation. The Commanding Officer, Col. R S Jasrotia, S"M spoke on the bravery of the martyred son of soil.
Prof. Shiv Kumar, ANO of Army Wing of the college also acknowledge the selfless sacrifices of the families of Lt. Sushil Khajuria, Kirti Chakra who continue to inspire us with their resilience and strength and lauded the efforts of NCC cadets of the college for their devotion work for bring all of us together to remember the supreme sacrifice of Martyrdom. Lt Sushil Khajuria and finally extended the vote of thanks.
NCC Cadets of the college also presented the guard of honor to the dignitaries and presented patriotic songs, a skit on "Kupwara Operation" and finally gave a presentation on life history of Lieutenant Sushil Khajuria.
The whole program is coordinated by Prof. Shiv Kumar, NCC officer of the college. Prof. Neeraj Sharma, Prof. Ranjodh Singh, Prof. Rakesh Jasrotia, Prof. Harbhajan Singh, Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Prof. Rajesh Gupta, Prof. Meenakshi Thakur along with other faculties of the college were present in the Martyr Day function.
