Faculty Development Program concludes at MIER College

JAMMU: MIER College of Education's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) successfully concluded its Faculty Development Program to enhance the professional capabilities of its academic and non-academic staff.

The Faculty Development Program spanned seven days and brought together a diverse group of educators from various disciplines within the College of Education.

The program aimed to provide a platform for faculty members to engage in collaborative learning, hands-on activities, exchange innovative teaching methodologies, and stay abreast of the latest advancements in their fields.

Topics covered in the FDP included orientation on TEL Policy, benchmarking Policy, use of interactive panels, AI in Education, blended course development using Moodle, free tools for research, and use of AI tools in the office.

Following were the resource persons: Prof. Adit Gupta, Principal MIER College; Prof. Mool Raj, Controller Examination, MIER College; Shashank, People Link; Dr. Deepti Malhotra, Department of Computer Science and IT, Central University of Jammu; Prof. Nishta Rana, School of Education, MIER College and Abha Choudhary, Certified Life, Emotional Intelligence and Executive Coach, Chandigarh.
