Govt ITI Rajouri organised Convocation and EDP workshop under Sankalp

RAJOURI: Govt Industrial Training Institute Rajouri organised a Convocation programme on Monday for the students who had completed their various courses.

In the academic session of 2022-2023, Govt. ITI College enrolled 436 students and the Institute registered an overall passed percentage of 85 % which is the Institute's best record since its inception with the state of art teaching infrastructure of the Institute.

The Convocation programme started with a welcome address by Ujwal Mahajan Principal of the institute, who gave a detailed report and congratulated the students on their accomplishments.

Chief Guest Vikas Kundal, DC Rajouri, lauded Govt. ITI Rajouri for having one of the best results among ITI's in J&K UT. He highlighted the importance of upgrading ITI's courses in the Rajouri towards development of skill and for self employment of the youth of Rajouri.

The institute also organized a seminar on Entrepreneurship Development Programme for their students on the Ist day of EDP under SANKALP.

Guest speaker, Ashish Langer asked the trainees to build networks with a community of entrepreneurs and like-minded individuals. He inspired the trainees to be aspiring entrepreneurs and enhance their physical and soft skills including upskilling opportunities to help them start their own start ups.

Other speakers Amit Bakshi, Dr Anuja Jasrotia and Yasmeen Kouser also shared their views and encouraged the trainees to broaden vision and laid focus on entrepreneurship development.

The Convocation function closed with the Chief guest Vikas Kundal, IAS handing out medals and award certificates to the meritorious students in various discipline.
