DLL organizes one day workshop on Career Management at GDC Marh

JAMMU: Employment Information cum Advisory Bureau (EIAB), Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu organized one day workshop on "Career Management" for the students of Govt. Degree College, Marh.
The programme was held under the overall supervision of Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Director, DLL, University of Jammu.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Rakesh Kumar Koul, principal of the college.
He also welcomed the guests and appreciated the efforts of DLL for the organization of this programme.
The special resource persons were Dr. Shallu Sehgal, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, University of Jammu, Dr. Neetu Dhar, Chief Coordinator and Master Trainer, JKDCUL and Dr. Rewa Khajuria, Counsellor, EIAB, DLL, JU.
Dr. Shallu Sehgal informed the students about self employment opportunities and also narrated the success stories to motivate the students.
She also spoke about start ups and loan facilities for the beginners. Dr. Neetu Dhar, in her presentation, apprised the students about the concept of self-image, self -esteem and self- development. Dr. Rewa Khajuria explained the different steps of career selection.
About 65 students appreciated the content while giving their feedback at the end of the programme.
Prof. Madhavi, Convenor of Career counselling cell of the college conducted the programme and formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Anjali Suri.
