J&K Kalaripayattu team shines in National Championship at Kerala

JAMMU: The team of Kalaripayattu Association of Jammu and Kashmir has brought laurels by winning silver medal in 15th National Kalaripayattu Championship 2023 held at LNCPE Indoor Sports Complex, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The Championship was organized by Indian Kalaripayattu Federation between 11 to 13 August. The Jammu and Kashmir Kalaripayattu player Gungun Tickoo won silver medal while Tarun Gupta and Dua Mukhtar managed to take 4th position in the championship.

Danish Sharma, General Secretary, Kalaripayattu Association of J&K, Manjeet Singh Chairman, Kalaripayattu Association of J&K and Tarsem Sharma, CEO, Kalaripayattu Association of J&K appreciated all the players and other team members for their hard work.

The team was accompanied by Tajamul Ahmad Khan, Rudrakshit Gupta, Koushal Garg and Rajat Bhagat.
