CUJ organizes Invited Talk

JAMMU: Department of Mathematics, Central University of Jammu today organized an invited talk on the topic ‘Graphs, Matroids and Whitney 2-Isomorphism Theorem'.

Dr. Jagdeep Singh working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Binghamton University, New York, USA while interacting with the students, talked about the application of graphs, shared his experience.

He motivated students about the future scope of the presented talk. Students asked and discussed their queries or doubts related to higher studies and future prospective in the field of Graphs theory.

Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor Central University of Jammu appreciated the efforts made by the faculties of Department of Mathematics. He also desired to arrange such kind of informative talks in the near future by other departments.

Prof. Devanand, Dean, School of Basic & Applied Sciences gave his good wishes and hope for more such programs to be organised by the Department in near future.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, HoD Mathematics graced the event with their presence and Dr. Uday Pratap Singh, Coordinator of the event presented a welcome address and brief introduction of the speaker.

Dr. Pavinder Singh presented a formal vote of thanks. Dr. Sanjay Kumar and Dr. Kamlesh Kumar along with the other faculty members, research scholars and students of the department were also present.
