ADGP Ladakh presents paper on CBRN threats

LEH: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Ladakh, Dr SD Singh Jamwal, presented a paper on CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) threats in a conference organised by the Ministry of Housing Urban Affairs in collaboration with FICCI, in New Delhi.

CBRN disaster threats are significant concerns in today's world and it is essential to address these issues to enhance public safety and security.

A statement said that the conference provided a platform for experts and stakeholders to share knowledge, insights, and best practices in dealing with CBRN threats.

"Such conferences play a vital role in enhancing preparedness and response capabilities across various dynamics. The collaboration between the Ministry of Housing Urban Affairs, GoI, FICCI, and other stakeholders in organising the conference demonstrates the commitment towards addressing and finding solutions to the challenges posed by CBRN threats," it said.

The presentation by Dr SD Singh Jamwal, ADGP Ladakh Police, further reflects the proactive approach taken by the Ladakh Police to stay updated on emerging threats and contribute to national efforts in safeguarding the security and well-being of the country and its citizens.
