MAM College holds Felicitation Cum Rank Ceremony

JAMMU: NCC Army wing of 2nd Bn NCC Unit of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu celebrated Felicitation Cum Rank Ceremony.

The Chief guest on the occasion was Col. R.S. Jasrotia, the commanding officer of the 2nd Bn NCC Unit, JK along with their staff.

Prof. (Dr) G S Rakwal, Principal, Maulana Azad Memorial College Jammu formally welcomes the chief guest, staff and other dignitaries by delivering welcome speech. He congratulated the entire NCC Unit of the college and lauded the efforts of the NCC cadets for their achievements.

Col. R. S. Jasrotia, the commanding officer of the 2nd Bn NCC Unit, JK delivered the inaugural speech. He apprised the efforts of the NCC cadets, CTO and the Principal of the college for organizing such events and congratulated the NCC cadets for their achievements and bringing laurels to the college.

Prof. (Dr) Karan Singh, Principle of the GDC Gool and former ANO of the college was the guest of honor who delivered a keynote on the importance and role of NCC cadets in nation building.

In the event, many culture items, bhangra, solo dance, solo song and animation video etc are performed to glorify the beauty of our country and to depict the achievements of NCC cadets of the college.

The whole event was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Shiv Kumar, CTO of the NCC unit of the college.

And finally, the list of newly selected rank holders for the session 2023-24 are announced and a rank ceremony performed by the Col. R.S. Jasrotia and Prof. Dr. G S Rakwal, Principal.

The NCC rank holder cadets are JUO Vireshwar Manhas, JUO Aftab Zafar, JUO Abhishek Sharma, JUO Danish Kumar, SUO Sanchit Manohar and SUO Sahil Matoo.
