Non-Teaching Employee Union, JU organises Shabeel cum Bhandara

JAMMU: The Non-Teaching Employee Union, University of Jammu, organised Shabeel cum Bhandara programme on Friday.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umesh Rai, made his ascetic presence known at the function, where he distributed sweet water and langer among the teachers, employees, scholars, and students.

He appreciates and welcomes the initiative taken by the NTEU for the welfare of the university. He further discussed the issues of the welfare of employees and students with the president of NTEU.

Dr. Rakesh Chib, president of the union, says that these kinds of functions are a symbol of brotherhood, integrity, and unity and provide a platform for all the employees to interact with each other. He further added that all the union members and non-teaching employees actively participate in the Bhandhara.

The Bandhara was attended by Prof. Naresh Padha, Prof. Rajeev Rattan, Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Prof. Satinder Kumar, Prof. Pankaj Srivastava, Sanjeev Mahajan, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Ranjit Kalra, Dr. Vikram Sahi, Dr. Rakesh Chib, and all the members of the union.
