5 Days Training Programme for Officers concludes at JU

JAMMU: The five day's induction training programme for newly recruited officers and Assistant Registrars concluded today in the University of Jammu.

The induction programme was conducted by the UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, University of Jammu.

In the valedictory function Prof. Meena Sharma, Dean Planning and Development was the Chief Guest.

In her address, Prof Meena Sharma elaborated on the working of the university and the role of the newly recruited Officers.

She emphasized that all the policies must have the focus on cause and concerns of the students.

She stressed the officers must have a positive and constructive mindset while dealing with the files that are routed to them.

Earlier while welcoming the guests at the function Prof S K Pandita, Director HRDC threw light on the various topics that were covered during the induction programme.

He informed that experienced resource persons were drawn from various organisations and the participants were, satisfied and happy to interact with them.

The participants were provided the certificates of participation by the Chief Guest.

Ranjit Kalra, Teaching Faculty put forth the formal vote of thanks whereas proceeding of the function was conducted by Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone, Coordinator of the course.
