New Team India jersey: Adidas shares first glimpse of Test, ODI and T20I shirts

MUMBAI: Global sportswear brand Adidas shared the first look of Team India's new jerseys, retaining the famous 3-stripes for kits for all formats of the game.

The sportswear giant took to social media to share a glimpse of the jerseys, much to the excitement of fans who were eagerly waiting for the design of the new kits.

The Indian cricket board (BCCI), in May, confirmed a multi-year partnership with Adidas as the kit sponsor for the India men and women's cricket teams across multiple age groups. The partnership was welcomed by fans who were waiting to see revamped Indian cricket kits.

On Thursday, June 1, Adidas India took to Instagram to share a photo of the shirt of the India cricket team. The Test, ODI and T20I kits' first look was unveiled and the fans were not disappointed.

"An iconic moment. An iconic stadium. Introducing the new Team India Jerseys," Adidas wrote, using the Wankhede Stadium as the backdrop for the jersey unveiling.

While the Test kit has the 3-stripes running on the shoulders of the traditional white shirt, one of the two white-ball kits has a darker shade of blue.
