2 Day Capacity Building Programme organised for PRIs at Block Paddar

KISHTWAR: The Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Block Paddar today organised Two-Day Capacity Building/Training Programme for PRIs (Panchayati Raj Institutions) to enhance their understanding of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and its significance in local governance for holistic development of their respective Gram Panchayats.

The training programme was organised at Block Headquarter Paddar.

The elected representatives, officials and the stakeholders from various Gram Panchayats participated in the interactive session & workshop. Besides case studies, they were provided with valuable insights and practical tools to strengthen their understanding and implementation of GPDP.

Key objectives of the Capacity Building/Training Programme included Enhancing understanding of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and its significance in local governance, Equipping PRIs with the necessary knowledge and skills to formulate and implement effective GPDPs, Facilitating the exchange of best practices and lessons learned from successful GPDP implementations across different Gram Panchayats.

The training programme was moderated by Master trainer Subhash Thakur (Panchayat Secretary) Machail.

Through a combination of presentations, group discussions, and hands-on exercises, participants were encouraged to actively contribute, share their experiences, and gain practical insights into the implementation of GPDP.

Positive notes were shared by PRIs attending the programme.
