Sixth phase of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan concludes in Reasi

REASI: the sixth Phase of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan was successfully completed in 9 blocks of the Reasi district under the guidance of Director Agriculture Jammu, K.K Sharma, Chairman HADP ADDC, Jyoti Slathia and under close monitoring of Harbans Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer (DNO HADP).

The resources persons of agriculture and allied sectors along with PRIs of concerned Panchayats participated in the farmers' orientation programs.

Training was imparted through audio visual aids at all the venues identified in 9 blocks of the District.

Farmers were also made aware about Daksh Kissan (online learning portal) and KISSAN SATHI (IT Dashboard) for digitization of various schemes and services.

Informative booklets in three languages regarding Schemes under HADP were also distributed among farmers. ADDC Reasi, Director SBI RSETI, Visiting Officer, Sanchi Sharma, SMS SDL Kewal Krishan attended the training programme in Panchayat Kotli Manotrian-A where marigold and other seasonal vegetable seedlings were also distributed.

Chief Agriculture Officer along with Sub Division Agriculture Officer attended the programme in Panchayat Kothian in Pouni block. District Agriculture Officer Extension, Dharmari, ASCO Dharmari and SMS SDL attended the programme in Panchayat Thuroo- B.

Baseline survey of 1156 farmers was also completed by skill gap study persons appointed for the purpose.
