Workshop on Business incubation held at IM-GDC Shopian

SHOPIAN: Career Counseling Cell of Imtiyaz Memorial Govt Degree College (IM-GDC) Shopian, in collaboration with Chinar International, a subsidiary of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), organized a workshop on business incubation at the conference hall of the Science block, here.
The workshop aimed to empower students by providing them with valuable insights into developing business ideas, offering capacity building and extending financial assistance.
The workshop witnessed an enthusiastic participation of students and faculty.
Zafar Iqbal, Program Coordinator of Youth Development at Chinar International brought a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of entrepreneurship, providing a captivating and insightful presentation on the theme of business incubation.
During the programme, Iqbal highlighted the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among students and discussed various strategies to transform innovative ideas into sustainable businesses.
He emphasized the significance of business incubation in creating an enabling environment for young entrepreneurs, guiding them through the complexities of setting up and running their ventures. The session also delved into the availability of capacity-building resources and financial assistance programs to support students in their entrepreneurial journey.
