Seniors accorded warm farewell by GDC Ramgarh

SAMBA: Government Degree College Ramgarh today organised a Farewell Party for the outgoing batch here in the College auditorium.
The day was a fiesta devoted to reminiscing of joyous moments of the years spent together with friends and teachers.
Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest on the Occasion. The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp.
In her address, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra blessed the students and wished best for their future and encouraged them to never compromise with their principles and abide by the moral values and discipline they have learnt from the college. Further, she motivated the students to work hard for their upcoming examinations
The event was organized by the students of Semester 2nd and 4th of the College under the aegis of ‘MY COLLEGE MY PRIDE' and under the guidance of the Students Welfare Committee. The day was packed with lots of fun and frolic to bid adieu to seniors.
The programme was marked by cultural performances including singing, dancing etc. The students performed on the Punjabi and Hindi songs. The highlight of the event was Miss Farewell contest in which the outgoing students walked the ramp gracefully and participated in games.
Avinash Kour was judged as ‘Miss GDC Ramgarh' and Amanpreet Kour as ‘Miss Farewell'.
Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Shamsher Lal, Prof. Risha Kumari, Dr. Anjali Bala, Dr. Rahul Kundal, Dr. Ashish Kumar, Dr. Varinder Kour and Sanjeev Kumar attended the programme.
