MAM College organizes workshop on Career Opportunities in Management

JAMMU: Career counselling committee, MAM college Jammu today organized a workshop on career opportunities in management.
While welcoming the students and guests, Principal MAM college said, the management as a subject offers a wide range of career opportunities that are in high demand across all the industries. With the right education and training, one can build a rewarding career in areas such as human resources, finance, operations, marketing and many others, he added.
Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Chouhan, Director, The Business School, University of Jammu encouraged the students to explore the exciting world of management and take advantage of many career opportunities.
Dr. Komal Naggar, Associate Professor and Dr. Abid Hussain Parrey, Assistant Professor, The Business School, JU emphasized that, with hardwork, dedication and the right skills, one can build a successful and fulfilling career in this dynamic field. They addressed the several queries raised by students concerning the eligibility criteria for getting admission in MBA, job prospects etc.
Three student coordinators namely Mohak, Vanshika and Soham from the Business School also interacted with the students and apprised them of the campus life. There was also an interaction session in the end.
The entire programme was anchored by Ms. Vijeeta Anand, Assistant Professor. Dr. Vishally Sharma delivered the formal vote of thanks.
Prof. Banpreet Kour, Convenor, Placement Committee, Prof Bharti Slathia, Convenor Career Counselling Cell, Prof. Amit Pal Kour, Dr, Satinder Juneja, Prof Mohd Ashraf, Prof. Meena Gupta, Prof Ajay, Prof Shiv Kumar attended the sessions.
