Ayushman Bharat Diwas celebrated at MVIS

SAMBA: To familiarise the students with Ayushman Bharat Yojna, special knowledge session was administered by Dr. Vidhi Bhatial, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Samba at MV International School (MVIS), here on Friday.

She highlighted the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and its importance to the people. She said the purpose of the scheme was to uplift the living standard of the people by providing free medical treatment and saving the hard earned wages of the people and securing their future.

The students were sensitized with policy framework, free healthcare facilities, new wellness centers and related survey programmes. Making the youth work as social ambassadors against the widely spreading drug abuse, knowledge regarding rehabilitation centers and their working was also provided.

She further added that students need to generate their ABHA ID (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) which will help them to share their health records digitally with hospitals, clinics, insurance providers and others.

Principal of the School, Kundan Lal Dogra appreciated the Yojna and complimented the Medical department of District Samba for apprising the people about benefits of government scheme.

Dr. Sandeep Rangroo, District Nodal Officer Samba was also present to coordinate the event.
