Major reshuffle in J&K judiciary

JAMMU: As approved by the Full Court under the chairmanship of Chief Justice N Kotiswar Singh, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered transfers and postings of 76 Judicial Officers including 32 District & Sessions Judges, 27 CJM/Sub-Judges and 17 Judicial Magistrates.

As per the order issued by Registrar General Shahzad Azeem, Bala Jyoti, PO J&K Labour and Industrial Tribunal has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Special Judge Anti-Corruption Court (CBI cases), Jammu.

Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Baramulla has been transferred and posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal, Srinagar on deputation. Jaffer Hussain Beg, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Anantnag.

Ashok Kumar Shavan, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Poonch has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kathua. Mohammad Ashraf Malik, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Budgam has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Baramulla.

Ravinder Nath Wattal, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Reasi, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri. Yash Paul Kotwal, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kishtwar, has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Samba.

Jeema Bashir, Registrar Inspection, High Court Wing Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as PO MACT, Srinagar on deputation. Sonia Gupta, Principal District & Sessions Judge Samba, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Reasi. Kalpana Revo, Principal District & Sessions Judge Rajouri, has been transferred and posted as PO J&K Labour and Industrial Tribunal on deputation.

Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Presiding Officer, Fact Track Court, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Budgam. Chain Lai Bavoria, Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as 2nd Additional District Judge, Jammu. Rupali Ratta, District Judge, LRP, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Registrar Inspection, High Court Wing Jammu against the available post.
