Pre-Baisakhi celebration held at MV International School

SAMBA: MV International School celebrated the harvest festival with immense enthusiasm in school premises today.

Baisakhi is an important harvest festival of Punjab that has religious value as well. Keeping this in mind, students of MV International School celebrated this day with great fervour.

The school premises wore a festive look, the campus was decorated with items depicting the heritage of Punjab.

Students, especially the tiny tots, were dressed up in colourful Punjabi attires.The school arranged various activities such as modelling, dance under the theme ‘MV da PIND' where Punjabi culture was depicted.

Chairman of the school Hira Lal Abrol graced the occasion by his esteemed presence.

Students of classes 1st and 2nd participated in ‘Modelling Show'. They were dressed in punjabi costumes and they walked the ramp on the beats of Punjabi folk songs.

Students from Classes 3rd to 5th presented ‘Bhangra Dance' and created a Punjabi atmosphere. Later all students from classes Nursery to 12th danced to the ‘Dhol Beats' which added excitement for the students.

All the students had a walk in ‘MV da PIND' to take a glimpse of punjabi heritage that was displayed for them.

Chairman Hira Lal Abrol addressed the students and gave his blessings. He congratulated and wished happy Baisakhi to all members of MV International School Family.
