DDC Rajouri reviews progress of SAMAGRA Shiksha, District Capex Budget

RAJOURI: District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal held a meeting with concerned officers to review the progress of works under the SAMAGRA Shiksha programme and District Capex Budget in the district.

During the meeting, Kundal sought a detailed report from the officers on the physical and financial progress of works under Samagra Shiksha, District Capex Budget, UT Capex, DDC, BDC and PRI grants. The officers briefed him on the current status of these projects.

Kundal instructed the officers to speed up their progress to complete the projects within set deadlines while maintaining quality for better longevity.

He made it clear that no laxity would be tolerated. He also instructed them to swiftly resolve any bottlenecks hampering developmental projects to ensure smooth execution of works.

Kundal also asked for proposals for the repair and renovation of unsafe school buildings to be included in the plan.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Chief Education Officer, Sultana Kouser; District Information Officer, Narinder Kumar; and ExEn PWD (R&B) Rajouri, Maqbool Hussain.
