Kishtwar Youth Festival: 30 volunteers head to IIM Jammu for leadership course

KISHTWAR: As part of the ongoing Youth Festival celebration in the district under the Mission Youth initiative, Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav flagged off a contingent of 30 youth volunteers today for a Community Leadership Executive Course to be held at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu.

The course is being conducted in collaboration with the District Administration, Mission Youth and Govt Polytechnic College Kishtwar from 27th to 31st March 2023 at IIM Jammu.

The youth volunteers were overwhelmed by this initiative of the District Administration Kishtwar under the Mission Youth initiative. Dr Devansh Yadav informed that the course aims to empower young people to become effective leaders and agents of change in their communities.

The course is designed for aspiring youth leaders who want to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to create positive change in their communities.

Topics covered will include community development, project planning and management, public speaking and effective communication.

Field visits will also be conducted in the Jammu-Udhampur area for practical learning.
