J&K ICAI organizes Workshop on Bank Branch Audit

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India hosted a Workshop on ‘Bank Branch Audit' organised by Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of ICAI.

The Guest Speakers for the events were CA Rajiv Singh (Former Director Union Bank of India) and CA Anil Sharma (Former Director UCO Bank)

CA. Rajiv Singh took the first technical session on Critical issues in Advances, IRAC norms & Audit documentations.

The Second Technical Session was taken over by CA. Anil Sharma where he gave a very detailed presentation on Long Form Audit Report.

Both the Guest Speakers addressed the queries raised by the members on related issues during the Q & A session.

CA. Vikas Purdhani, Chairman of the branch welcomed the guest speakers, members & students and delivered the inaugural address.

CA. Sourav Pargal, Secretary of the branch conducted the proceedings.

CA. Vineet Kohli, Vice Chairman of the branch presented the formal Vote of thanks and other executive members CA Ayush Sawhney (Treasurer), Nakul Saraf (Immediate Past Chairman) and CA Priya Seht along with a number of Chartered Accountants were also present at the occasion.
