Bhaderwah Campus, JU organises seminar on Anti-drugs Awareness

JAMMU: NSS Unit 07, Bhaderwah and Kishtwar Campuses in collaboration with J&K Police, SP office Bhaderwah organised a seminar on Anti-drugs Awareness in LalDed Auditorium of Bhaderwah Campus here today.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response with over 50 NSS Volunteers participating in the seminar. Rector Bhaderwah Campus Prof Rahul Gupta said that the seminar was a resounding success, and it brought to light the importance of awareness campaigns to combat the menace of drug abuse.

"Such collaborations between police and academic institutions play a pivotal role in creating a drug-free society. We hope to see more such initiatives in the future," he added Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Dil Mir Choudhary highlighted the importance of organizing such events and insisted that NSS Volunteers must adopt outreach programs for broader awareness.

SP Bhaderwah Kameshwar Puri spoke elaborately on the role of police and academic institutions in curbing this menace.

Dr. Subhash Chander, Programme Officer of NSS Unit 07, emphasized the significance of such collaborative events and the need for increased awareness about the harmful effects of drugs.

The seminar concluded with a road march by NSS Volunteers with Anti Drugs slogans. Both the Police administration and NSS Unit 07 thanked External Relations Officer Bhaderwah Campus Arif Haleem Khateeb for his support in organizing this event.
